Alassio - Due Vie

This is a very steep cobblestone path used by those who wish to avoid the longer Madonna delle Grazie climb to Vegliasco.
From Piazza S. Ambrogio, head up past the Salesiano Institute on the left, crossing over the railway using the footbridge. From here, take the set of steps on your right. After a short, almost flat stretch, on your right you find a steep climb with big steps that takes you to the provincial road for Moglio near the hospital
Opposite the hospital is the starting point of the route. A cobblestone mule track climbs very sharply between olive groves and the boundary walls of the villas of Regione Rangè, including Castello Raggi and Castel Geloso, home of the well-known entrepreneur who made tape recorders so popular in Italy.

You soon come to regione Due Vie, which lies below Vegliasco: a final lat stretch of about 150 metres, comprising a wide cobblestone path flanked by dry stone boundary walls and olive groves, leads you to the crossroads with the route that climbs up from Madonna delle Grazie.
